ANOTHER Friday Update? Yes… ANOTHER Friday update. Clearly, I cheated last Friday and let the general Kickstarter update count as a Friday update. It plays into my motto: “If you’re NOT cheating, you’re NOT trying.” To be clear, I am not advocating cheating. It’s meant for humorous effect only, unless you NEED to cheat… then feel free to use my motto as rationalization.

Well, as the Kickstarter update mentioned, the products are on the water, taking a leisurely cruise to “the rest of the world.” Hooray! That means pretty soon you will have these games in your hands, then from your hands to your bed… I mean, gaming table! Sorry, I didn’t mean to give the impression I make sweet, sweet love to the games I help create… that would be gross. BUT if I did have to pick a game to get sexy with, it would FOR SURE be this hot number…

So much orange in that photo, it made the camera wonky. But on a serious note, if you roll the playmat up just right, you CAN make love to it. I also wanted to give a shoutout to R.S. Bixby… you mad, drunk genius. His fucking art is getting better and better. I don’t know if he’s laid off the crank or doing MORE crank, but man, it’s fucking working. Check out this oversized Wizard for an upcoming product:

Our playable Wizards usually fall into a few camps (male, female, or monster), then either funny, badass or super specific thematic. For the upcoming ESW 6, all the Wizards are going to be BADASS (sort of like Studd Spellslammer and Killgore Murder fist). The guy above is Badass Monster… just look at all those wands!

Speaking of badass, let’s take a look at a couple more Legend cards form ESW A2! First up is Fatcula’s Snack Cart… such an odd series of creative led to this thematic. Fatcula was a card from ESW 2, a Delivery I believe. SO I wanted to work him back in and fell in love with using Dracula as a type instead of a name. So, in the never-to-be-released (but almost entirely finished) 2 player version of the ESW deck-builder (KILL PIT), I had put in all these cards like Gang of Draculas and Dracula’s Council. This idea led to me wanting a Dracula theme park… thus Draculand. Jesus, that’s a long and boring story. Please go back and don’t read any of that. Anyway, this card is rad, and WAY more powerful than you think.

Next is Immortality Kombatant, clearly inspired by a video game that corrupted arcade kids for generations. Fun fact: The creator of Mortal Kombat once yelled at me in a meeting! True story. This card is fun if you like PUNISHING your friends, and if you are here reading this, I will assume you do!

So that’s it for this week. You should have gotten your second fan club letter? I hope so and if you live in “the world outside my bubble,” sorry if it’s taking longer. Next week I will address some of the issues with the fan club and maybe some solutions. The issues being the “random” extras and the VAT stuff…

Anyway, I love you deeply, like a brand-new copy of a game…
