I got the 2nd spellbook, and have tried to organize the the ability tiles, bonus glyphs, and the other tokens included in the book, but I can’t figure out what the slots are for.
Yeah I’m not sure what the slots are exactly for. Apparently this spell book is for sitting promo cards and items. I think the top part is for dead wizard tokens, the two under that are for ability tiles (although they fit rather snug), the small one I’m unsure of, the left main area is obviously standard cards, and the right main area looks like it’s for the Satan deck cards, although I’m unaware of any promo Satan cards. I think it would be nice to have labels for what goes where to maybe just at the bottom, but I think this could also be laid out better.
I think it’s sort of an “anything goes” approach as far as the publishers are concerned. Some wells that fit whatever you may want to put it them.
the tiny well with angled sides seems designed for the HP trackers which are distinctly not promo but are nice to have all in one place (but then you have to remember to bring the book to every game sesh).
I was hopeful that it would be a catch-all for ALL dead wizard tokens, ALL ability tiles, etc. since the hp trackers are in there and then it could be like a toolbox for all the universal stuff that can be used across sets. But there just isn’t enough room so it’s promos only for now. And limited to that, there’s tons of space for everything. I do have my second token sak and second set of nacho chips in the biggest well.
