Hi all, since Annihilageddon 4 is in active development, I have a few ideas in mind, feel free to add on and/or feedback 🙂

Idea 1: Include an optional Co-op Mode
    -Enhance Replayability with RPG Elements:
Introducing a co-op mode (with or without role-playing game elements) would bring a fresh and exciting dynamic to the series, significantly enhancing replayability.

    -Foster Teamwork and Shared Victory:
Unlike traditional player vs. player modes, a co-op mode would eliminate the potential for negative feelings associated with losing. Players can enjoy victories together, fostering teamwork and camaraderie.

    -Add Depth to the Series:
This new mode would add more depth to the Annihilageddon series, making it even more engaging and versatile.

    -Innovative Approach:
Introducing a co-op mode represents an innovative step in the card game genre. Given its optional nature (players have a choice to play with the traditional PvP mode), it poses a low risk while offering high potential rewards.

    -Retain Chaotic Fun:
The co-op mode would retain the series’ signature chaotic fun, allowing players to destroy enemies together rather than each other, which can be especially appealing for friends, spouses, and matured families.

    -Proven Market Demand:
Similar campaigns, such as “Skytear Horde,” have successfully implemented co-op modes, proving there is a market for this type of gameplay.

    -Opportunities for Additional Sales:
If successful, this mode could open up new opportunities for game accessories, such as new playmats, 3D cardboards, and plastic tokens.

Idea 2: Include All Previously Released Promo Cards
    -Attract Collectors:
Including all previously released promo cards (from conventions, events, limited edition products, etc.) would attract new fans who are also collectors, to join in with the hope that they are able to own a complete collection (it is torturing and unable to fully enjoy the game knowing that it is unable to own the complete set).

    -Retain Existing Fans:
This move would encourage existing fans, who may have felt demoralized by the impossibility of collecting all cards, to stay engaged with the Annihilageddon family (and rekindle the inner Annihilageddon fire).

    -Show Appreciation to Fans:
Re-releasing promo cards would be a significant favor to fans, showing that you value their loyalty and commitment.

    -Combat Secondary Market Exploitation:
As seen with Unstable Games and Konami (Yu-Gi-Oh 25th Anniversary), re-releasing out-of-print cards is a smart move. It prevents greedy secondary market sellers from exploiting the fans and ensures the revenue goes to the creators. Fans would much rather support the original creators than overpriced eBay sellers.

    -Testing the Market:
If there are concerns about backlash, starting with a small re-release to test the market could be a prudent approach.

Idea 3: Cross Over with the Steven Rhode series
-Not sure how this can be done yet, I just feel that the theme is compatible and would love to see the synergy between the two.

-This can enhance sales of existing product lines and add depth to both game series.

Let me know what you think!

    I’m all up for a co-operative mode.

Re-releasing all previously released promo cards I’m definitely not up for though.

They’re still available for people to source if they wish. I have most, I think I’m only missing the Cthulhu alternative and wilhellion promo set.

I might be missing one or two more but that’s about it. Torturous it is not haha
