I’m wondering, since it seems like Gang Bangers was more specifically tied to Annihilageddon 1, if we’ll get a KS exclusive expansion that’s more closely tied to Extreme Nacho Legends in this next kickstarter. Kind of keep that train rolling.

That being said, i’m thrilled at the theme being Satanic Panic for Annihilageddon 3, and I’m hoping for a good mix of heavy metal references along with D&D stuff.

I’ll be surprised if there is not a Chick Tract and Mazes and Monsters reference.

Pretty easy guess since its probably the thing most people would know in regards to the Satanic Panic. The Norwegian church fires would be the only other obscure-ish metal reference I could think of to use black metal as more of an art influence than the standard thrasher style the game uses. Though referencing that event directly may fall to far into poor taste like the Grapist and Sui-slide cards.

Wait, i was unaware that Annihilageddon 3 was confirmed. How would i learn what’s so far been said about it, if anything?

From what Im guessing is when Cory releases the Kickstarter for A3 and ESW #6, anyone whos probably subscribed to the news letter here will get a message saying: HEY THIS SHIT IS IN THE MAKING! COME HELP SUPPORT IT! or something like that.

Maybe because its currently popular, but it’d be cool to a see a Cult of the Lamb reference or promo. Mostly because it actually managed to generate a little bit of moral outcry in regards to Satanism.

im all in for the heavy metal references, stoner doom and heavy metal is basically all i play and listen.

cult of the lamb reference is kind of allready in A2, it has lamby the sacrificer 😉 my girl is currently playing it on switch i was like hey look at this one haha.

Chick tracts was a gimmy, but classic Rubber Hose style animation seems super obvious as an art reference in hindsight. The style got revived by a game with a subtitle of “Don’t deal with the devil”. Still not sure what the third reference point was unless the Tarot deck is a mix of Jack Chick and those “I’m sorry John” posts by Rojom
